It's a mesmerizing place, spread over a large area, with some spectacular views out to sea. The museum may be small, but it is interesting--not least because it's in a cave!
Horse Riding: Through the forest (national park) or along the beach at dusk, even if you have never rode a horse this is an enjoyable way to spend a day or an evening.
Jeep Safari: pile into ex-army 4x4s and barrel through the national park, each truck chasing and "ambushing" the others in a running water fight, and you've got the essence of this crazy day.
Throw in a BBQ lunch with free beer, a visit to a moonshiner, and some Bulgarian dancing and you have the ultimate day out!
There are many beautiful beaches with Albena being awarded the ‘blue flag’, the bars and restaurants will cater to all ages and persuasions, although many do close at midnight. |
